Anthony Ryans Fashion Show To Celebrate 100 Years In Business

Details of Galway’s most glamorous fashion show, the Anthony Ryans Spring Fashion Show were announced earlier this week with a reception held at Anthony Ryans. The fashion show promises to be a wonderful celebration and will be held in the Ardilaun Hotel on Monday March 9th @ 8.30pm.
The proceeds of the fashion show will be donated to the Galway branch of Down syndrome Ireland, Voices for Galway speech therapy project. The project provides Speech Therapy to Children and Adults with Down syndrome in Galway City and County.
This is also the 50th continuous year of the Anthony Ryans Fashion Show and is without a doubt one of Ireland’s longest running shows. Set up originally to celebrate the shops 50th year in business the Fashion Show is always one of the Best Shows around. Not only will it showcase the key looks for Spring Summer 2009 but it promises to be a fantastic night full of entertainment for those attending. However this year is extra special for Anthony Ryans as it celebrates 100 years in business. Quiet an outstanding accomplishment. 50 fashion Shows and 100 years in business!
The show promises to be a wonderful evening with live entertainment including the Regina Rogers School of Ballet, Galway’s Performing Arts Group along with a few surprise faces! There will also be a major raffle and plenty of free handouts for those attending. Those attending can also enjoy a pre fashion show drinks reception.
Labels such as Toypes, Lipsy, Rinascimento, Peruzzi, Esprit, Pink Label by Gina Bacconi, Kali O’Rea and Eva Kayan will be among the stylish collections to be modelled on the night. These collections mark the start of a new season introducing new major trends seen on the catwalks of leading fashion cities. Shoes will be supplied by Premoli and hair will be styled by Barry’s Hair Studio.
Tickets are available from the Galway branch of Down syndrome Ireland committee and are also on sale at Anthony Ryans main store on Shop Street.
