Anthony Ryans Shortlisted for Galway Chamber Business Award

Anthony Ryans, one of Galway’s longest established and most successful retailers of clothing, lingerie, fashion, cookware, homeware, curtains, luggage & linens, has been named as a finalist in the Galway Chamber Business Awards 2009. The award winners will be announced at the Galway Chamber President’s Dinner on Thursday June 25 in the Galway Bay Hotel.
Anthony Ryans have been shortlisted in the category of eBusiness which is kindly sponsored jointly by the Galway Chamber of Commerce and The Galway Technology Centre /e-Galway. The category aims to recognize and reward companies who have fully embraced the internet as a key sales tool, as an effective and cost efficient marketing tool and offers an alternative channel for customer service. Speaking on behalf of Anthony Ryan’s was Managing Director, Anthony Ryan, who stated that since the initial cookware site launch in October 2008 “sales have grown from strength to strength, we have launched two more sites since then which are being well received by customers all over the country”
Anthony Ryans is shortlisted along with other finalists such as Recruit Direct and the Galway Technical Institute.
