Brendan Courtney’s tips for Ladies Day!
Every year the Galway Races sets the bar to new heights when it comes to dressing for Ladies Day at the Races! The key is to respect the occasion and dress appropriately for the day that’s in it while managing somehow to personalize your outfit and make it your own!
My tips for achieving this are...
• Firstly and most obviously use accessories ... striking hats, killer shoes and eccentric belts all help
• Using indigenous designers always get a favourable response from the judges!
• Keep it simple, too much is always too much
• Embrace the summer floral and use it to maximise your assets
• Also colour blocking (done well of course!) will definitely grab the judge’s attention
