Four Star SharpBlock 7 Piece Knife Block
This Zwilling Four Star knife set contains a knife block, five kitchen knives and scissors. Especially the SharpBlock knife block is remarkable: it is enhanced with the so-called KIS technology. This means that three of the six slots (for knives with a smooth edge) are enhanced with small ceramic sharpening stones, positioned in the ideal sharpening angle. Every time you replace or remove a knife, your knife is being sharpened. The icons with each slot are very practical clearly showing which knife belongs in which slot.
This set includes 1 x 10cm Paring Knife, 1 x 13cm Utility Knife, 1 x 20cm Carving Knife, 1 x 20cm Chefs Knife, 1x 20cm Bread Knife, 1 x Kitchen Scissors and 1 x knife block.
The Zwilling Four Star knives are enhanced with a solid forged crop and the comfortable plastic handle seamlessly merges with the blade.
The blade is made from ice-hardened Friodur steel. During this process the steel is heated in 4 stages to 1000°C and cooled to-70 °C. Zwilling perfected this technique, and guarantees optimum sharpness, sustainability, elasticity and corrosion resistance. You also sharpen the knife in five steps. The result is a perfectly sharpened knife. The crop of the knife does not extend to the edge of the blade to make sure you can easily sharpen it on a sharpening stone.
Thanks to the seamless construction and the materials used, knives from the Zwilling Four Star collection are dishwasher proof. We do, however, recommend washing them by hand because the detergent in a dishwasher can affect the knives in the long run.

Postage: There is a flat postage charge of €2.95 for all of Ireland. Orders shipped to the UK will incur an automatic flat rate shipping charge. Please note there is no free shipping threshold for shipments outside of Ireland. Orders to mainland Europe cost more as they are shipped by weight. Click & Collect: You can also ‘Click & Collect’ online collection orders from our Homestore on 7 Lombard Street, Galway. Please select the ‘Click & Collect’ option at the checkout. You will receive an email when your goods are ready for collection - be sure to wait for this email.
Back Orders: If your item is not in stock, we will notify you immediately and backorder the item for you. You also have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Returns: We want you to be 100% satisfied with any purchase order placed with us. Therefore, if you wish to return an item you purchased online for whatever reason you may contact us by email on sales@anthonyryans.com within 30 days of receipt of goods stating the reason for return.
Goods can be returned for a full refund if they are faulty or if the wrong item has been dispatched.
If the goods have been dispatched as ordered, they can be returned for a refund, for the cost of the goods, less any delivery charge incurred. The cost of returning the unwanted goods is at your expense. We do not offer free returns. Please note that if items are returned you should ask for proof of postage from your post office as we reserve the right to refuse a refund if an item is lost whilst being returned. Products need to be returned in resalable condition with the original packaging and price/sale tickets attached.
