In 1988, Christy became the official towel supplier of The Championships, Wimbledon. It is no surprise that the Christy towel used on Centre Court by the players has now become an iconic part of The Championships and the best known towels around the world.
Christy's strong knowledge of cotton gained from over 170 years in textiles has meant their bedlinen is now as well regarded as their iconic towels.
