Various names are used, but it all comes down to the same thing. A sturdy board for delicious small dishes. Sustainable wood from the Longan fruit tree
This Wood Works serving board is made from sustainable Longan wood. The Longan tree is a fruit tree that, when it stops producing fruit, is normally only processed into charcoal. Some think that's a waste, so Skottsberg turn it into rock-solid boards.
A rock-solid serving board
Skottsberg serving boards are sawn in one piece, not glued and therefore rock-solid. Also nice: we have milled handles on both sides, so you can lug the serving board all over the house with ease.
Water repellent thanks to protective Tung oil
The sawmill has already coated the board with two coats of Tung oil. This drying, protective oil is completely foodsafe and makes the boards water-repellent. This Tung oil is also available separately so you can properly maintain the board for a lifetime of enjoyment.
Each serving board is unique
Our Longan serving boards are unique, no two boards will be the same. They may have minimal deviation in size or colour.
Delivery: Please allow 5-7 working days for delivery to Ireland & the UK.
Postage: There is a flat postage charge of €2.95 for all of Ireland. Orders shipped to the UK will incur an automatic flat rate shipping charge. Please note there is no free shipping threshold for shipments outside of Ireland. Orders to mainland Europe cost more as they are shipped by weight. Please contact us for an up to date shipping quote.
Click & Collect: You can also ‘Click & Collect’ online collection orders from our Homestore on 7 Lombard Street, Galway. Please select the ‘Click & Collect’ option at the checkout. You will receive an email when your goods are ready for collection - be sure to wait for this email.
Back Orders: If your item is not in stock, we will notify you immediately and backorder the item for you. You also have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Returns: We want you to be 100% satisfied with any purchase order placed with us. Therefore, if you wish to return an item you purchased online for whatever reason you may contact us by email on sales@anthonyryans.com within 30 days of receipt of goods stating the reason for return.
Goods can be returned for a full refund if they are faulty or if the wrong item has been dispatched.
If the goods have been dispatched as ordered, they can be returned for a refund, for the cost of the goods, less any delivery charge incurred. The cost of returning the unwanted goods is at your expense. We do not offer free returns. Please note that if items are returned you should ask for proof of postage from your post office as we reserve the right to refuse a refund if an item is lost whilst being returned. Products need to be returned in resalable condition with the original packaging and price/sale tickets attached.
Damages: Any damages must be reported within 24 hours of the delivery being received.
